Introducing the Kings County Concert Band!

We would like to welcome the Kings County Concert Band to the MMC family! KCCB will be conducted by Jasmine Britt with Frankie Dascola as assistant conductor.

KCCB is geared towards wind and percussion instrumentalists who want to get back into the concert band setting and also for experienced musicians who wish to explore performance on secondary instruments.

To find out more about MMC’s newest ensemble or to sign up for Brooklyn’s newest concert band, visit KCCB here.

Band Camp Success!

More than fifty people, representing all three MMC ensembles, spent Labor Day weekend at the second annual MMC Band Camp!

Band Camp was held at the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, nestled in the middle of the Catskills. The beautiful campus and facilities made for a fantastic weekend of music-making.

Between rehearsals, campers played tennis, swam, hiked, socialized, and simply enjoyed the fresh air. Many thanks to GSCB conductor Brian Worsdale for making this incredible weekend possible!
